LOL, well a black page with some text appeared, and started to count something, so I closed it...

IRT Nevan: Wow, that site is really weird... The message in front of it is made with a very poor, resource hogging system. Then I went to the "About me" page and it was really really screwed. Some files seem to be corrupt, and the web server might be screwed too, but text text that appears all over the place is done on purpose, at least in the HTML code. So either she's making a real strange joke, or somebody hax0red her website, because the way it's screwed is really hard to be casual.

IRT Wiseman: I know, if you go to all the different pages then it is really messed up. Some people think it's Bungie acting like a rampant AI on said site that is a metaphor for something in the Halo universe. Of course I doubt anyone really hacked it since the domain was made a month before it first appeared in the trailers.
I'm pretty sure that we shall find out soon, though.

Yeah, I bet when the counter is 0 it'll change to some "Pwned, it was me stupid" site, or maybe "Welcome to Microsoft's new Halo website".
I'd investigate its registration data but it's too late today.

Well some people suspect it will mark the release of some sort of screenshots/info. I still not sure myself, all we can do is wait.

LOL. I don't want to go too OT but just listen to this from first hand expirence:
"1) If I threw a plasma grenade onto another plasma grenade that was on the ground they would stick together and turn a light blue-purple color. And 2 seconds later a charged explosion (almost twice the size) would result. Pretty damn cool imo! Talk about laying a trap for a flag capturer
2) When 2 players look at each other and throw a human grenade at each other at the same time, they?ll actually bounce against each other and fall to the ground.
4) If a human (and maybe covenant) grenade are thrown at an incoming rocket, they both blow up at impact. Nice Bungie! (I died)"
Taken from here.
Of course this isn't all the new stuff, since he was just playing an early build that was at E3 and other such events.

I found that after weeks of playing the original, there was nothing left to do; but it seems that theres going to be a near unlimited gameplay potential for the sequel though, it'll be fun fiddling with those game mechanics when we finish the main game. That is, of course, in between frequent online CTF matches.
Anyway, on a completely unrelated matter, did you know that there are five different types of bagpipes?
First, there is the traditional scottish Highland Bagpipes which features 8 holes, 3 drones and plays a distinctive pipe scale thanks to it. Its also the loudest of them all, and is also known for its use as an Irish Warpipe.
Next, theres the quieter bellow controlled Uelliann bagpipes, subsequently more popular in Ireland, which has a range of 2 octaves, 3 drones, and has extra pipes from which to play unique chords from.
Thirdly, theres the Binou Bagpipe, a seven hole chanter, which only has one drone. This is typically played in Brittany.
Fourth is the spanish Gaita, similar to the scottish bagpipes, with 3 drones and a similar keyrange, with a spanning of 2 octaves.
Finally, theres the english bagpipe, called the Northumbrian Bagpipe, which are similar and play using a variable number of keys, and up to 5 drones.
Mini Dictionary
Octave - From any note, for example, C, all the way through C#, D, D#, E etc...to the next higher C. All the bagpipes above have a range of 2 octaves, and so, have 24 notes to play with.
Drone - Low pitched pipes that feature more prominantly on the bass orientated bagpipes.
Chanter - another term for a wind instrument, or melody pipe.
Scale - A sequence of notes played within an octave, typically leading from one note, and ending on the exact same note (but higher).
So, in conclusion, you can now hold your head high with pride as you walk down your streets to the local newsagent to pick up your daily milk or whatever, knowing that you can jam pack the first person that speaks to you with an inexhaustive and extensive explanation on all manner of bagpipes.
